Key Takeaways
- We found 30 podcasts that regularly serve MSP owners and checked every single feed in July 2026. 24 are alive. Six of the best-known names in the space, including TubbTalk, have stopped publishing, and most "best MSP podcast" roundups still recommend them.
- For daily industry news there is one clear answer: Business of Tech with Dave Sobel, publishing every day without fail.
- For marketing, Paul Green's MSP Marketing Podcast is the biggest dedicated audience in the niche and has published weekly for six years straight.
- For the money conversation (pricing, cash flow, what your MSP is worth), It's a Numbers Game from the MSP Finance Team is the strongest specialist show.
- Podcasts are also an underused visibility channel: more than half the active shows on this list interview guests, and appearing on three or four of them puts you in front of thousands of MSP owners for the cost of a few hours on a webcam.
Quick Answer
If you only subscribe to three MSP podcasts in 2026, take Business of Tech for a 10 minute daily news briefing, Paul Green's MSP Marketing Podcast for a weekly tactic you can actually use, and It's a Numbers Game for the financial discipline most MSPs avoid. Then add one show from the category that matches your current bottleneck, whether that is sales, security or deciding what your business is worth.
How This List Was Built
We run growth for MSPs, including inside a national MSP, so these shows are how we keep a finger on the industry between conferences. And because we also publish the MSP events calendar, we know how fast these lists rot.
So we did the boring work: in July 2026 we pulled the RSS feed or Apple Podcasts page for every show and checked the date of its most recent episode. Shows with an episode in the last three months are listed as active. Shows quiet for longer get a note. Shows that have clearly ended are in their own section at the bottom, because their back catalogs are still worth your time even if no new episodes are coming.
One honest disclosure up front: the first show on this list is ours. We put it at number one because it is our list. Everything else is ranked by what it is best at, not by affiliation, and we mark every vendor-run show as vendor-run.
The Best MSP Podcasts in 2026
1. Play It Smart, with Alexej Pikovsky
Best for: MSP owners who think like founders. Growth, ownership, pricing power and exits, told through operator stories.
Yes, this is our show, and yes, we put it first. Play It Smart interviews founders and operators about how they actually built their businesses: fundraising or refusing to, first customers, scaling, and getting to an exit worth having. Past guests include Rand Fishkin of Moz and SparkToro, Chili Piper co-founder Alina Vandenberghe, and TinySeed on what makes a software business acquirable.
In 2026 the show relaunched with a full season dedicated to MSP operators: how MSPs price, market, hire and eventually sell. If you run an MSP with a story worth telling, we are booking guests for the season now. Listen on Spotify, or browse past episodes on this site.

The Famous Ones That Have Gone Quiet
These shows appear on nearly every "best MSP podcasts" roundup published this year. None of them has released an episode in over nine months. The back catalogs remain genuinely valuable, just do not wait for new episodes.

The Smarter Move: Get On These Shows
Here is the thing most MSP owners miss about this list: more than half of the active shows above are interview formats that need a steady supply of guests. The hosts are not doing you a favor by having you on. You are solving their weekly content problem.
A 45 minute podcast appearance puts you in front of an audience of your exact peers (and, on the regional shows, your prospective clients) with more trust than any ad you could buy. If you have a genuine story, whether that is a niche you own, a buyout you pulled off, or a number most owners get wrong, pick the three shows above whose audience matches yours and pitch the host directly. Be specific about the story, not about yourself.
This is part of how we think about MSP content marketing in general: showing up where trust already exists beats building an audience from zero. The same logic drives our MSP leaders community and, on the search side, our work on AI-search visibility: be present where your buyers already are, whether that is a podcast feed, a peer group or a ChatGPT answer.
