Our work with Batch focused on two primary areas to improve their online performance and contribution to revenue:
Targeted Content Development:
- Instead of creating generic content, we developed content specifically designed to match what their potential customers were searching for online. This involved identifying relevant search terms (keywords) and structuring the pages, and articles around those terms.
- The goal was to make Batch’s website highly relevant to specific user needs and questions. This relevance helps search engines understand the value of the content, leading to higher positions in search results for those target queries.
- Increased ranking for relevant searches brought more qualified visitors to their site, people actively looking for what Batch offers. This increase in the number of qualified leads is fundamentally the key to business success.
Authoritative Link Acquisition:
- Alongside content, we built a strategy to acquire links to Batch’s site from other credible and relevant websites. This wasn’t about getting as many links as possible, but specifically targeting sources with established authority and a connection to Batch’s industry or customer base.
- Think of these links as votes of confidence from respected sources on the web. Search engines like Google interpret these high-quality links as indicators of trust and authority for Batch’s website.
- Over time, accumulating these authoritative links increases a website’s overall standing or ‘Domain Authority’ in the eyes of search engines. A higher Domain Authority contributes significantly to better overall search rankings and a stronger online presence.
By systematically improving both the relevance of their online content (through targeted creation and optimization) and their perceived authority on the web (through strategic link building), we aimed to drive more genuinely interested visitors to Batch and build search engine trust, which are direct drivers of increased online business performance and revenue.
Results
- Significant Traffic Growth: Average monthly website traffic increased from approximately 4,500 visitors at the start of our engagement to consistently reaching around 17,000 visitors per month after one year. This represents a substantial growth of about 277%, dramatically increasing their online reach and potential customer base.
- Improved Search Rankings: We successfully increased the number of keywords for which their site ranks within the top 3 search positions by 73%. Achieving higher rankings for relevant terms ensures greater visibility and drives more qualified organic traffic to the site.
- Enhanced Domain Authority: The website’s Domain Rating, a key metric for search engine authority, improved significantly from 37 to 58. This increase indicates enhanced trust and credibility with search engines, contributing to overall search performance.
- Stronger Backlink Profile: During the period we worked together, the number of unique referring domains linking to their site increased by 68%. Growing the quantity and quality of backlinks helps strengthen the site’s authority and improves its standing within the online ecosystem.
- Increased Conversions and Sales: Most importantly, these efforts translated into significant business results. Comparing the period from January to May of the current year to the same timeframe in the previous year, total conversions and sales were 187% higher, demonstrating a clear return on investment from the improved online performance.
