NUOPTIMA vs Ulistic (Now Tech Pro Marketing): An Honest Comparison

Tech Pro Marketing acquired Ulistic in 2022. A sourced comparison with NUOPTIMA on services, pricing, reviews and AI search, and who each one fits.

If you are weighing NUOPTIMA against Ulistic, the agency to evaluate today is Tech Pro Marketing. Tech Pro Marketing acquired Ulistic LP in a deal completed in October 2022, which both parties confirmed to ChannelE2E, and on September 28, 2026, ulistic.com redirected to Tech Pro Marketing's website. The short answer: Tech Pro Marketing suits a managed service provider (MSP) that wants an agency working only with MSPs and information technology (IT) service providers, starting from a published price. NUOPTIMA suits an MSP that wants search engine optimization (SEO), generative engine optimization (GEO), paid media and outbound run by one team as one program.

Fair warning. NUOPTIMA wrote this page and we are one of the agencies in it. Every statement about Ulistic and Tech Pro Marketing comes from Tech Pro Marketing's website, ulistic.com, Ulistic's Clutch profile, an archived G2 page or ChannelE2E's report on the deal. Each is linked where it is used and dated in the Sources list, and anything from before the acquisition is labeled as history.

At a Glance: Tech Pro Marketing and NUOPTIMA

Ulistic's Clutch profile, still live in September 2026, lists the firm as founded in 2010 and says it "serves as your IT service company's marketing department." Its former chief executive, Stuart Crawford, told ChannelE2E that Ulistic "was one of the early companies offering fully managed marketing services for MSPs."

Tech Pro Marketing, LLC lists its address in Barrington, Rhode Island (contact page). Its homepage says "100% of our clients are MSPs and IT service providers" and speaks to MSPs "doing $500K or $5M in revenue." ChannelE2E's 2022 report on the deal said the firm typically supports MSPs with $500,000 to $5 million in annual managed services revenue.

NUOPTIMA is a growth agency for MSPs. We sell one program across four channels: SEO, GEO, paid media and outbound, with one team accountable for one pipeline number.

Read the table as a map of scope. The right pick depends on what you need someone to own next.

Infographic comparing NUOPTIMA and Ulistic, which Tech Pro Marketing acquired in October 2022 and whose old domain now redirects to Tech Pro Marketing, showing who each agency fits: choose Tech Pro Marketing to begin with one search program from $2,400 monthly, choose NUOPTIMA for one team running four channels (search engines, ChatGPT recommendations, paid media and outbound) against a pipeline number, and choose neither yet if you have no qualified lead definition and need to fix source tracking first.

Scope: Several Programs or One

Tech Pro Marketing publishes a wide menu, summarized in the table above. The way you buy it matters more than the length of the list. Asked for a price list, its homepage answers that it runs several MSP marketing programs, including SEO, lead generation and pay-per-click advertising, and that a growth call works out which one fits you (homepage).

That structure suits some owners well. You choose the program that matches the gap you have now. If your website is the first thing to fix, web design is a named service. If you are thinking about buying or selling an MSP, the same firm lists consulting for that next to your marketing.

NUOPTIMA sells the opposite arrangement: one team runs all four channels and answers for one pipeline number, whichever channel a deal came from. The trade is real. You give up picking channels one at a time, and you pay for an outcome you cannot fully inspect in the first month.

The question that decides it is who owns the pipeline number. If you already have a sales lead who owns it, one strong program may be all you need, and a program-by-program agency lets you start small. If nobody owns it, ask every agency on your list, us included, who follows up each lead, where it is logged, and how a signed contract gets traced back to the channel that produced it. Get the answer in writing.

Pricing: What Each Agency Publishes

Tech Pro Marketing's AI search page gives a starting point: AI search optimization is included in its SEO retainers "starting at $2,400/month" (AI search page). For its other programs, the homepage points you to a growth call (homepage). A starting price covers one program, so ask for a written quote on everything you actually want.

Ulistic's Clutch profile still shows a $1,000 minimum project and an average rate of $150 to $199 an hour (Clutch). Those figures describe Ulistic, not a current Tech Pro Marketing quote.

NUOPTIMA quotes after a baseline audit, so there is no NUOPTIMA figure on this page.

Before you compare quotes, do the payback arithmetic. Take Tech Pro Marketing's published starting point: $2,400 a month is $28,800 a year before any ad spend. Assume a 50 percent gross margin on managed services (our assumption; use your own). To cover that fee on gross profit, you need one new client paying about $4,800 a month, kept for a year. Run the same test on every quote you get, ours included.

Then ask each agency for the same five numbers in writing:

  • Monthly fee, and what it includes
  • One-time setup fee
  • Required advertising spend
  • Contract length and cancellation notice
  • What you keep (site, content, ad accounts, data) if you leave

Ulistic Reviews: What Clients Said Before the Acquisition

The Ulistic reviews we could verify all predate the October 2022 acquisition, so read them as history.

On Clutch, Ulistic LP shows 4.8 out of 5 from 2 reviews, both written in 2017. One client said it received more leads from Ulistic in the first three months of 2017 than in all of 2016 with its previous vendor, and put the cost at around $2,500 per month. The other reported "an average of 7.5 leads per week."

G2's Ulistic page, as archived by the Wayback Machine on January 18, 2021, showed 4.6 out of 5 from 9 reviews (G2).

Those reviews tell you what Ulistic delivered for those clients at the time. They do not tell you who would run your account now. Ask Tech Pro Marketing for two or three current MSP references at your size, and ask who would own your account day to day.

Proof: What Each Agency Publishes Today

Tech Pro Marketing's homepage lists 20K+ leads generated, 100+ MSPs that trust it and 150+ five-star reviews. Its client stories include a $120K deal from organic search for Cii Technology, and Hubbard Street Technology going "From $10K to $80K MRR" with its inbound leads and go-to-market strategy (homepage). Its AI search page quotes CCS Technology Group moving from "not appearing in ChatGPT for key local IT searches to being prominently visible in AI-driven recommendations" (AI search page).

NUOPTIMA's main MSP proof is Cortavo: 261 to 10,000 organic visitors a month in 9 months, and $403,330 in contracted sales value attributed to organic and AI search over 12 months, a 4.6x return (Cortavo case study).

Apply one test to every case study, ours included. What was the starting point, how long did it take, and how was the result traced to the channel? If a story says "more leads," ask how many, from what baseline, and how many became signed contracts.

AI Search: Inside SEO or Its Own Workstream

Both agencies sell AI search work. They structure it differently.

Tech Pro Marketing builds answer engine optimization and GEO into every SEO engagement, with the stated aim of getting your MSP recommended by ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google AI Overviews and other AI platforms (AI search page). The appeal is simplicity: one SEO retainer covers classic search and AI answers.

NUOPTIMA runs GEO as its own workstream. Our GEO services page defines it as making your firm the name AI assistants give when a buyer asks for a provider, across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok and Perplexity. The work has three parts: map the questions buyers actually ask AI, shape the pages and data that models retrieve, then track which prompts name you and hold the position.

Whichever structure you choose, ask the same questions before you sign:

  • Which buyer questions will you track, and can we see the list?
  • Which AI assistants will you test, and how often?
  • What is our visibility today, as a baseline?
  • Which pages will you build or change?
  • How will AI visibility connect to booked calls and signed contracts?

Questions to Ask Before You Sign

A few questions cover most of the risk in this decision:

  • Which legal entity will we contract with, and who runs our account day to day?
  • What happens in the first 30 days?
  • What counts as a qualified lead (company size, service need, minimum MRR), and how fast is follow-up?
  • What happens if we cancel, and what do we keep?

The Verdict: Which Agency Fits Which MSP?

Choose Tech Pro Marketing if you want an agency whose clients are all MSPs and IT service providers, and your firm sits in the range its homepage speaks to, from about $500,000 to $5 million in revenue. It is also the better route if you want to start with a single program at a published price (SEO with AI search included, from $2,400 a month), if your website needs rebuilding first, or if you want help buying or selling an MSP. And if you were a satisfied Ulistic client, Tech Pro Marketing is the firm that acquired it, so start there.

Choose NUOPTIMA if you want SEO, GEO, paid media and outbound run by one team against one pipeline number, with GEO tracked as its own workstream. The proof to inspect is the Cortavo case study. One limit: we take one MSP per niche and region, so if a competitor in your market signed with us first, we are not an option for you.

Choose neither yet if you cannot define a qualified lead, do not know your close rate, or cannot trace which source produced which contract in your customer relationship management (CRM) system. Fix that first. No agency can repair an undefined sales process from the outside.
