About Devotion Dresses
Devotion Dresses is a premium wedding dress ecommerce store. The high average order value means the business has strong upside from organic search, but only if the right visitors arrive at the right pages.
The team came to NUOPTIMA with no meaningful SEO revenue despite knowing the channel should work. The site was poorly structured, the URL hierarchy was broken, and the sitemap had never successfully submitted. Collection pages, which were among the highest-converting pages on the site, had almost no organic visibility.

What we did
The plan had three parts: fix the technical foundation, build out collection pages that could rank for high-intent searches, and grow topical authority with a content program targeting brides earlier in the decision process.
On the technical side, we rebuilt the URL structure, fixed sitemap submission (which had historically failed), and addressed the site speed and structure issues that were suppressing crawling and ranking across the board. These quick wins fed directly into the collection page and content work. Our technical SEO audit surfaced dozens of fixable issues that had been holding rankings back.
Category pages
42
Category pages built
Keyword research showed a large opportunity in mid-to-long-tail wedding dress searches: seasonal modifiers, silhouette types, train lengths, and other style attributes that brides use during the consideration phase.

Searchers using these terms are comparing options within a category, not just browsing. That makes them high-intent visitors who convert well when they land on a page that matches exactly what they searched.
We created 42 collection pages, each targeting a distinct wedding dress style that was already in the Devotion Dresses catalog. Every page got unique meta text and unique on-page content. We then added those pages to the navigation bar, which improved internal linking and indexability immediately.

Content program
100+
Blog articles published
We set up a WordPress blog at devotiondresses.com/blog for easier content control and faster technical iteration. From there, we applied a keyword clustering strategy to map the full informational landscape around wedding planning and dress selection.

The target reader was a woman actively planning her wedding and comparing dress options. Top-of-funnel articles built brand discovery and passed authority to the collection pages below.

Results
Organic traffic grew 10x. The site reached 5,000 organic visits and 20,000 ranking keywords. Collection pages, which are the highest-converting pages on the site, drove most of the traffic gain. The structural work and sitemap fix meant Google could finally crawl and index the catalog at scale.
Key takeaways
- For high-AOV ecommerce stores, collection pages with unique content targeting style-specific searches are the fastest path to converting organic traffic. 42 pages created here directly produced ranking gains across the wedding dress niche. Pairing them with a structured ecommerce SEO strategy is what separates traffic from revenue.
- Technical issues can silently block all downstream SEO work. In this case, a broken sitemap and poor URL structure meant sitemap submissions had historically failed and much of the catalog was poorly indexed. Fixing foundations first let the collection pages and content program work as intended.
- Topical authority from 100+ blog articles built the domain credibility that collection pages need to rank in a competitive niche. Off-page authority compounds on-site content: both are necessary for consistent organic growth in high-competition verticals like wedding retail.
