About The Influencer Marketing Factory
The Influencer Marketing Factory is a global agency helping brands run influencer marketing campaigns on the top social platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
They came to NUOPTIMA as a newly launched agency in 2023. The goal was to position them as an authority in influencer marketing: an international resource both for influencers looking for work and for companies looking for influencers. As a newly launched agency, they ranked for the wrong terms and captured almost none of the buyers actively searching for an agency. That was the gap we set out to close with SEO.

What we did
The plan concentrated on ranking the pages that buyers search for, then earning the authority to hold those positions. Our monthly deliverables were:
- Produce six articles (12,000 words) per month for the client's site;
- Build four high-quality backlinks (5,000 to 6,000 words) per month on authoritative domains through off-page link building;
- Conduct technical monitoring to keep every technical aspect of the site optimized and running smoothly;
- Create and implement a multilingual content strategy for a wider, global audience, including content translation, content localization, and sitemap creation and link building for different languages and regions;
- Keyword tracking and reporting to monitor keyword performance;
- Comprehensive SEO reports summarizing overall search performance.
Results
The collaboration began in August 2023 and was still ongoing as of July 2024. The figures below are measured from the August 2023 start to mid-May 2024, roughly nine and a half months of work.
Keyword ranking
Keywords are the terms content targets to rank in search. On 1st August 2023, as the engagement began, the client ranked for only 30 keywords in positions one to three, and they were neither relevant nor commercial. One example was "who created capcut," as shown in the Ahrefs screenshot below:

By 20th May 2024, nine and a half months in, The Influencer Marketing Factory held 89 keywords in the top three positions, an increase of 59. These were mostly bottom-funnel, high-converting terms tied directly to their services, such as "influencer marketing agency" and "tiktok influencer agency":

Total keyword coverage grew alongside the top rankings. At the start, the client ranked for 2,946 keywords:

By mid-May 2024, that figure reached 4,080 keywords, a 38.5% increase over the same nine and a half months:

Organic traffic
Organic traffic is the visitors who land on the site from unpaid search. At the start of the engagement in August 2023, the client generated organic traffic of 3,852:

By May 2024, organic traffic reached 7,563, a 96.3% increase over the August 2023 baseline, meaning far more of the right buyers were discovering the site:

Backlink profile
Backlinks and referring domains earn the authority that holds those rankings. The Ahrefs screenshot below shows how the profile improved from November 2023 to May 2024:

- Backlinks: links from a page on one website to another. The client gained 2,700 new backlinks over the six-month period. More backlinks help rankings because each one acts as a vote of confidence from another site.
- Referring domains: the number of distinct websites linking to the client's site. The Influencer Marketing Factory gained 595 new referring domains, helping to establish them as a trusted authority in influencer marketing.
Key takeaways
- For a new domain, ranking volume is a vanity trap. The client already ranked for 2,946 keywords in August 2023, but almost none were commercial. The 1,780% lead jump came from moving 59 buyer-intent terms like "influencer marketing agency" into the top three, which is the core of good SEO.
- Rankings need authority to hold. Consistent monthly link building added 2,700 backlinks and 595 referring domains over six months, which is what let those top-three positions stick rather than slip.
- A multilingual, technically sound foundation compounds. Localized content plus ongoing technical monitoring nearly doubled organic traffic in under ten months, from 3,852 to 7,563 visitors.
