Best Managed IT Service Providers in Atlanta | 2026

Eight Atlanta managed IT companies compared on price, support hours, response times and Google ratings, plus what to ask before you sign.

If you run a 20 to 300 person business in Atlanta, your information technology (IT) partner touches payroll, email, client files and the laptop your new hire needs on Monday. Choosing the best managed IT services in Atlanta comes down to a few checkable things: who answers when something breaks at 7pm, what a seat costs, which security work is included, and how easy it is to leave. A managed service provider (MSP) takes that work on for a monthly fee. The eight firms below all sell that model and have an office or a stated service area in metro Atlanta.

This page is for owners and operations leads without an IT department. It will not help much if you are an enterprise with internal IT staff, want a one-time repair, or sit outside the Atlanta area.

Every fact below comes from the provider's own website or its Google Business Profile, checked in November 2026, plus Clutch and LinkedIn where a fact card says so. The numbers on the list are there for navigation. They do not rank one provider above another.

How this list was built

We held every firm to four criteria:

  • Verified sources. Every claim traces to the provider's own live site or its Google Business Profile. Where a fact card uses Clutch (hourly rates) or LinkedIn (team counts, founding years), it says so.
  • Atlanta presence. An office in the Atlanta area, or a stated service area that covers the city.
  • A managed services offer. A recurring monthly support plan. Project-only shops were left out.
  • A live, identifiable site. The website loads and is clearly the company it names.

Disqualifiers were a dead or reassigned domain, no metro Atlanta office or service area, and break-fix work with no ongoing plan. A field missing from a fact card means we could not confirm it, nothing more, so ask the firm.

Last reviewed: November 7, 2026.

Each entry opens with a fact card. Review summaries are our reading of each firm's most recent Google reviews (up to 40), pulled in November 2026. Pricing marked Clutch is the hourly band the firm reports on its Clutch profile, and team counts marked LinkedIn are people who list the firm as their employer there. Fields we could not confirm are left off the card.

Each row shows the firm's headquarters (HQ), nearest office or stated service area, its Google rating, its support coverage and one thing it is known for. Google ratings come from each firm's Google Maps listing in November 2026. Under Google, n/a means we found no rating we could match to the firm; under Support, it means we could not confirm its support hours.

Cortavo homepage, November 2026

Cortavo sells IT as one monthly bill. Its Atlanta page describes a flat fee that covers the help desk, hardware, cybersecurity and cloud storage, and managed plans start at $195 per user per month with a five-user minimum. Because hardware sits inside that fee, ask other firms what their seat price leaves out before you compare. The company was founded in 2019 as an all-inclusive IT plan for small and mid-sized businesses, and it also lists a Kennesaw location.

The help desk is US-based and runs 24/7. Beyond fully managed plans, Cortavo quotes co-managed IT for companies that keep an internal IT person, and it offers multi-location support for firms with several sites. Its industry pages run from construction and legal to staffing, dealerships and logistics. The site also cites a 4.7 out of 5 rating on G2 from 59 reviews.

Best fit: A growing Atlanta company that wants laptops, security and support on one predictable per-user invoice.

Think twice if: You have fewer than five users, since managed plans carry a five-user minimum.

Transcend Networks has been in business since 2003, and its co-founder comes from security. Co-founder John Penrod holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credential and was the first chief information security officer at The Weather Channel. The firm is veteran-owned, serves "Atlanta and throughout the Southeast," and uses a US-based support team.

Each client gets a dedicated account manager and a lead systems engineer. Monitoring runs 24/7. The help desk covers business hours as standard, or 24/7 on premium plans, and engineers are on call for critical issues. Its frequently asked questions page says it typically responds within 30 minutes. Work is sold on flat-rate service agreements. Compliance work covers Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), payment card industry and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) frameworks. Focus industries include manufacturing, logistics, finance, healthcare and broadcasting.

Best fit: A clinic or finance firm that wants a named engineer and senior security experience behind its plan.

Think twice if: You want an office you can visit. The contact page lists phone, fax and email but no street address, so ask where engineers are based and how on-site visits work.

Southeastern Computer Associates homepage, November 2026

Southeastern Computer Associates carries 436 Google reviews at a 5.0 average, the deepest review record among the rated firms here. The firm has supported metro Atlanta since 1995, with a Kennesaw address in its site footer. Its homepage says every technician is based in metro Atlanta and that it never outsources overseas. It also claims more than 500 clients and a 99.9% uptime guarantee.

Its managed IT plans are called Protect and Complete. Listed services include managed cybersecurity, help desk, secure remote access and 24/7 network monitoring, so ask which plan covers which. The Complete plan includes unlimited remote and on-site support. Pricing is a custom per-user quote with no onboarding fees, on-site visits are included, and Complete clients get their first month free. Projects are sold at a fixed fee.

Best fit: An owner who wants a local technician at the door when something breaks, with no onboarding bill to start.

Think twice if: The uptime guarantee is part of your decision. Ask what the 99.9% figure covers and what you get back if it is missed.

Standard support runs Monday to Friday in business hours, and the after-hours on-call service guarantees a response within two hours.

Best fit: A law firm, medical practice or contractor on a weekday schedule that wants a deep local bench.

UniVirtual Solutions puts security first and describes itself as a veteran-owned managed security service provider (MSSP). The menu includes cybersecurity and MDR, penetration testing, compliance and cyber insurance support, and backup and disaster recovery. Co-managed IT is on offer for companies with their own staff.

The firm also handles the physical side: business phones and internet, structured cabling and low voltage work, which helps during an office move. Its Atlanta page names law firms, distribution and logistics companies, and manufacturers as its focus. Response targets are stated plainly on its Atlanta page: security emergencies are answered day or night within 30 minutes, and standard requests within four business hours.

Best fit: A law firm or distributor whose cyber insurance renewal is asking hard questions about security controls.

Think twice if: Speed on everyday tickets matters most. Standard requests carry a four-business-hour response target.

"IT for the People" is the line on the homepage of Ripple IT, an MSP based in Atlanta and New York. The Atlanta office is at 1345 Seaboard Industrial Boulevard NW. Ripple works with organizations of 25 to 250 employees and names financial services, healthcare, non-profits, creative agencies and private-equity-backed businesses as its focus.

Support runs 24/7 over Slack, email or phone. The service covers managed IT, network and security management, compliance support and IT strategy. The site states a System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type 2 report, a point worth raising if your own clients send security questionnaires. Pricing scales with headcount. The quote depends on users, offices, remote share, devices and compliance needs, so have those numbers ready.

Best fit: A 25 to 250 person firm with remote staff that wants to raise tickets in Slack.

Think twice if: You have fewer than 25 employees, since Ripple designs its service for organizations at least that size.

Business hours run 6am to 6pm Eastern, Monday to Friday, and the helpdesk works to a 10-minute response service level agreement (SLA).

The firm has operated since 1998. It has Atlanta offices at Perimeter Center West and on Peachtree Street downtown, plus a presence in Valdosta, and says it protects over 1,200 users. Security runs through 24/7 network operations center and SOC monitoring on SentinelOne. The rest of the offer covers compliance support, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, and web design. It names construction, financial firms, healthcare, insurance, law firms and real estate as its focus.

Best fit: A cost-conscious office that wants to see a per-user price before booking a call.

Alltek homepage, November 2026

Alltek leads with retention, and it puts a number on it. Its Atlanta page states a 98.5% average client retention rate and says it supports more than 1,400 end users. The company has operated since 2004. Its headquarters is in Tyrone, and it keeps an Atlanta office at 430 Plasters Ave NE. It states average response times of 30 minutes. Critical problems get 24/7 emergency support on top of the business-hours helpdesk.

Its service list is broad. Alongside cybersecurity, backup and disaster recovery, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phones and IT consulting, Alltek runs Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) and HIPAA audits. It also lists artificial intelligence (AI) enablement work as a service line of its own. Its industry focus is automotive dealers, manufacturing, financial services, architecture and accounting.

Best fit: A dealership or manufacturer that wants compliance audits handled by the same team that runs its helpdesk.

Think twice if: You need routine help after hours. The helpdesk works business hours, and after-hours support is reserved for critical issues.

How to choose a managed IT provider in Atlanta

Four pricing approaches show up on this list. trueITpros publishes per-user prices of $44.99 for business hours and $69.99 for 24/7. Cortavo starts at $195 per user with hardware inside a flat fee and a five-user minimum. Southeastern Computer Associates, Network 1 Consulting and Ripple IT quote each client individually, and Transcend Networks sells flat-rate agreements. Ask every firm to quote the same headcount and device count, and to list what sits outside the price.

Support hours split the list in two. Cortavo and Ripple IT run a 24/7 help desk, and trueITpros offers one on its higher plan. Network 1 Consulting covers business hours and offers an after-hours on-call response within two hours. Alltek keeps after-hours support for critical issues. Transcend Networks covers business hours as standard, offers a 24/7 help desk on premium plans, and has engineers on call for critical issues.

Response time claims look alike but promise different things. trueITpros states a 10-minute helpdesk SLA. Alltek quotes a 30-minute average, and Transcend Networks says it typically responds within 30 minutes. UniVirtual Solutions sets 30 minutes for security emergencies and four business hours for standard requests, and Network 1 Consulting guarantees two hours after hours. Ask which kind of number goes into your contract and what happens when it is missed.

On security, ask for evidence. Ripple IT states a SOC 2 Type 2 report. UniVirtual Solutions offers penetration testing and cyber insurance support, Alltek runs CMMC and HIPAA audits, and Transcend Networks lists HIPAA, payment card and NIST work. If an insurer or client has sent you a security questionnaire, bring it to the first call.

Contract terms vary too. trueITpros bills monthly with no annual contracts, and Southeastern Computer Associates charges no onboarding fees and gives Complete clients their first month free. Ask everyone else for term length and notice period up front. Offices here range from Kennesaw to Tyrone, so ask who comes on site and whether visits cost extra.

Questions worth asking on the first call:

  • Who answers a call at 8pm on a Tuesday, and is that person on your own team?
  • What does the per-user price leave out: hardware, projects, on-site visits or security tools?
  • Which compliance frameworks have you supported for a client like us?
  • How long is the contract, what notice do we give to leave, and who holds our admin passwords and documentation when we go?

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How much do managed IT services cost in Atlanta?

Two firms on this list publish prices. trueITpros charges $44.99 per user per month for business-hours support and $69.99 for 24/7, billed monthly with no annual contract. Cortavo starts at $195 per user per month with a five-user minimum, and its flat fee also covers hardware, cybersecurity and cloud storage. Southeastern Computer Associates, Network 1 Consulting and Ripple IT quote each client individually, so ask each for a price on the same headcount.

What does a managed IT plan usually include?

The service lists from these eight Atlanta providers commonly cover help desk support, monitoring, cybersecurity, backup and disaster recovery, and cloud tools such as Microsoft 365. Some go further: Southeastern Computer Associates includes on-site visits, Cortavo folds hardware into its fee, and UniVirtual Solutions adds penetration testing and structured cabling. Ask for a written list of what the monthly price covers and what is billed as a project.

Can I get 24/7 IT support in Atlanta?

Yes. Cortavo runs a US-based 24/7 help desk, Ripple IT offers 24/7 support over Slack, email or phone, and trueITpros has a 24/7 plan at $69.99 per user per month. Transcend Networks covers business hours as standard, offers a 24/7 help desk on premium plans, and has engineers on call for critical issues. If your staff work evenings or weekends, confirm which plan covers them.

How do I switch managed IT providers?

Start with your current contract: check the term, the notice period and what the outgoing provider must hand over, such as admin passwords, documentation and license details. Then ask the new firm how onboarding works and what it costs. Southeastern Computer Associates charges no onboarding fees and gives Complete clients their first month free, and trueITpros bills monthly with no annual contract.

Should I choose a local Atlanta provider or a national one?

Every firm on this list has an Atlanta-area office or a stated service area covering the city, from Kennesaw to Tyrone. A local office matters most when you need someone on site. Southeastern Computer Associates says every technician is based in metro Atlanta, and Network 1 Consulting states 30+ Atlanta-based engineers. Whoever you pick, ask who comes on site and how quickly.
