Best Managed IT Service Providers in Dallas | 2026

Eight Dallas managed IT providers compared on support hours, contract terms, compliance work and Google ratings. Reviewed November 2026.

If you run a company of 20 to 300 people in Dallas, your managed information technology (IT) provider is the outside team that patches laptops, watches the network, runs backups and answers the help desk. When you compare the best managed IT services in Dallas, two questions shape your day-to-day: who picks up when something breaks after 6pm, and how hard the contract makes it to leave.

This page compares eight providers with a Dallas area presence, for owners choosing a first provider or replacing one. It is not for enterprises with a full internal IT department, for anyone who only wants a one-off break-fix visit, or for businesses outside the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Hours, response times and contract terms below are the firms' own statements, checked in November 2026. The numbering is for navigation only and does not rank quality: the right firm for a 25-person law office is rarely the right one for a 250-person defense supplier.

How this list was built

We kept a firm on this list only if it passed all four checks:

  1. Verified sources. Facts come from the provider's own live site and its Google Business Profile. Where a fact card uses Clutch (hourly rates) or LinkedIn (team counts, founding years), it says so.
  2. Local presence. A Dallas area office or a stated Dallas service area.
  3. A managed services offer. Ongoing support on a monthly arrangement, beyond one-off projects.
  4. A live site that is clearly the company. The domain resolves and belongs to the firm named.

Disqualified: project-only and break-fix-only shops, domains that redirect to a different business, and any managed service provider (MSP) we could not tie to a Dallas area address or service area. Google ratings and review counts were read from each firm's Google Maps listing on November 7, 2026. Last reviewed: November 7, 2026.

Each entry opens with a fact card. Review summaries are our reading of each firm's most recent Google reviews (up to 40), pulled in November 2026. Pricing marked Clutch is the hourly band the firm reports on its Clutch profile, and team counts marked LinkedIn are people who list the firm as their employer there. Fields we could not confirm are left off the card.

Compare the top managed IT companies in Dallas

Each row shows the firm's headquarters (HQ), nearest office or stated service area, its Google rating, its support coverage and one thing it is known for. Google ratings come from each firm's Google Maps listing in November 2026. Under Google, n/a means we found no rating we could match to the firm; under Support, it means we could not confirm its support hours.

Sagiss homepage, November 2026

Everyone who works at Sagiss is a full-time employee based in its Las Colinas office. The firm says its staff are background checked and that it uses no contract or offshore labor, which matters if your main worry is who holds admin access to your systems. It reports more than 60 clients of 5 to 300 employees.

Services cover managed security, help desk with network monitoring, and managed cloud. On the assurance side, it cites System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type 2 reports and a Microsoft Premier Support Agreement, so you can ask to read the report instead of taking a security claim on faith. At around 30 people, it is fair to ask to meet your technicians before you sign.

Best fit: A company of up to 300 staff that wants every technician on the payroll and a provider that cites SOC 2 Type 2 reports you can ask to review.

Think twice if: you need a person on the phone at night or on weekends. The published support hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm Central, so ask what after-hours coverage looks like.

What Google reviewers say: Responsive support and timely fixes for business IT problems. Our summary of the 40 most recent Google reviews, November 2026. The firm replied to 33 of them.

ITECS opened in February 2002, works from Preston Road in Dallas, and says it has managed more than 7,000 endpoints, with a self-reported 95% client retention rate. Its network operations center runs 24/7. The service list runs from managed IT and cloud to cybersecurity and compliance work under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).

The homepage shows partner status with Veeam (Silver), Check Point (Advanced) and Sophos (Gold). The published packages are explicit about commitment: terms of 1, 3 or 5 years, and 60 days' notice if you do not want to renew. Having that in writing lets you plan the exit before you sign.

Best fit: A business that needs HIPAA, PCI DSS or CMMC compliance help and is comfortable signing a multi-year agreement.

Think twice if: you want to stay month to month. The published packages run on 1, 3 or 5-year terms with a 60-day non-renewal notice.

What Google reviewers say: Quick replies and troubleshooting help resolve business technology issues. Our summary of the 27 most recent Google reviews, November 2026. The firm replied to 26 of them.

Cloudavize homepage, November 2026

Cloudavize was founded in 2019, which makes it the youngest firm on this list that states a founding year, and its own website puts the case in plain numbers: 230+ completed projects, 11,000+ tickets closed, 200+ clients served and a 95.3% customer satisfaction score. The office sits on the LBJ Freeway in Dallas.

The detail worth your attention is the service level agreement (SLA) language. Cloudavize says it is contractually obligated to meet or exceed the SLA agreed with each client, so the actual response times are set in your contract. Ask to see them in the written proposal. The founder holds twelve certifications across Microsoft, Cisco, Amazon Web Services and CompTIA, which raises a fair question: who designs your setup, and who supports it day to day?

Best fit: A growing firm that wants response targets written into its own contract and is happy to work with a younger provider.

Think twice if: your problems tend to land at night or on weekends. The office runs Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, and round-the-clock help comes through a 24-hour service line, so ask who staffs that line and what it can fix after hours.

IT GOAT homepage, November 2026

Speed is the headline at IT GOAT. Its homepage states an 80-second average response time and a 6-minute average resolution, backed by 100% U.S.-based support and customer satisfaction of 96.5% or higher. Ask how those averages are measured, since an answer time and a fix time are different promises.

Underneath sits a security-heavy menu: security operations center as a service, managed detection and response, endpoint detection and response, 24/7 monitoring and incident response, disaster recovery and a virtual chief information officer. Compliance work covers HIPAA, PCI DSS, CMMC and SOC 2. The firm names four sectors it serves across the metroplex: defense contractors, healthcare, nonprofits, and oil and gas. Its 5.0 Google rating across 101 reviews is the largest confirmed review count on this page.

Best fit: A defense contractor, clinic or nonprofit that wants security monitoring and compliance support from one firm.

Think twice if: your business sits outside the four sectors it names. Ask how many clients it supports in your industry.

Uprite has served Houston, San Antonio, Dallas and Fort Worth since 1999, and its Dallas office is on Alpha Road. Two promises stand out on its homepage: a 120-day satisfaction guarantee, and pricing locked in for 12 months with no surprise fees. Both give you something to hold the firm to.

The service list runs from managed IT, cloud and cybersecurity to managed artificial intelligence (AI), and the firm also presents itself as a managed security service provider. Badges on the site show HIPAA Verified status from Compliancy Group and a place on the Channel Futures MSP 501 list for 2026. Support is stated as 24/7. Before you sign, ask for the guarantee and the price lock in writing, and check what the 120 days cover and what happens to pricing in month 13.

Best fit: A company with people in Dallas and in Houston or San Antonio that wants one provider and fixed pricing for the first year.

Think twice if: Dallas references matter to you. The review figures on its site are shown for Houston and San Antonio, so ask for Dallas clients you can call.

What Google reviewers say: Prompt service and repairs help resolve computer and network problems. Our summary of the 33 most recent Google reviews, November 2026. The firm replied to 33 of them.

Ighty Support homepage, November 2026

Network cabling, security systems and the help desk all come from the same in-house team at Ighty Support, which says it uses no subcontractors or offshore staff. Founded in 2011, it runs a corporate office in Carrollton and a branch on North Lamar Street in Dallas, and reports more than 500 clients across Dallas-Fort Worth. It targets businesses with 5 to 500 employees.

Ighty advertises a flat monthly rate with no contracts, plus a 5-minute response time it says is written into a contractual SLA. Ask what "no contracts" means in practice and which terms still bind you. The help desk runs 24/7, with office hours of 9am to 6pm on weekdays. Compliance documentation covers HIPAA, PCI DSS and SOC 2, alongside managed IT and cybersecurity. For an office move, one firm doing wiring and laptops removes a vendor handoff.

Best fit: A business opening or rewiring an office that wants cabling, security systems and IT support from one in-house team with no contracts.

Think twice if: you have more than 500 employees. The firm's stated focus is companies of 5 to 500.

Katalism Technology homepage, November 2026

Compliance comes first in how Katalism Technology describes its work. The Dallas Parkway firm, founded in 2017, builds its managed IT around regulated industries: healthcare, financial services, education and defense. Its compliance list is the longest on this page, covering HIPAA, CMMC, SOC 2, the Federal Trade Commission Safeguards Rule, and the rules set by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Beyond day-to-day support, it offers a virtual chief information officer and a virtual chief information security officer, plus Microsoft 365 management. That pairing suits a wealth manager or medical group that needs a named person in audit meetings to explain the controls. It serves clients nationwide from its Dallas base, so check who would visit your office in person.

Best fit: A financial advisory firm, clinic, school or defense supplier that needs compliance leadership as much as help desk support.

Think twice if: you work in an unregulated industry. The firm is positioned on regulated sectors, so ask how much of the service you would actually use.

What Google reviewers say: Responsive support and quick advice when technical problems arise. Our summary of the 21 most recent Google reviews, November 2026. The firm replied to 21 of them.

Progressive IT Solutions homepage, November 2026

Private equity firms and family offices are the two client types Progressive IT Solutions names on its homepage. The offer around them includes managed IT, co-managed IT, cybersecurity and CMMC support. Its main phone number is answered by a live person 24x7x365, and the firm says its technicians bring 10 or more years of experience.

Co-managed IT is the piece to note if you already employ an IT manager: the provider works alongside your staff instead of replacing them. For a family office, where a handful of people handle sensitive financial data and expect a quick answer, a human on the main line at any hour is a practical feature. Its office is on North Central Expressway in Dallas, and its 21 Google reviews average 5.0.

Best fit: A private equity firm, a family office, or a small finance team with one in-house IT person who needs backup.

Think twice if: your business looks nothing like a private equity firm or family office. Ask how many clients outside those two groups it supports.

How to choose a managed IT provider in Dallas

Start with the contract, where these firms differ most. ITECS publishes multi-year packages with a notice window before renewal. Uprite advertises 12-month locked-in pricing and a separate 120-day satisfaction guarantee. Ighty Support states a flat monthly rate with no contracts. Whatever the headline terms, get the termination clause, notice period and handover of data and admin passwords in writing before comparing prices.

Then check hours. Sagiss lists weekday support from 7am to 6pm Central. Cloudavize and Ighty Support pair weekday office hours with a 24/7 line. ITECS, IT GOAT and Uprite state 24/7 coverage, and Progressive IT Solutions has a live person on its main number around the clock. If you run a night shift, ask whether an after-hours call reaches an engineer or a message service.

Response claims come in two forms. IT GOAT quotes averages: 80 seconds to respond, 6 minutes to resolve. Ighty Support quotes a 5-minute response backed by a written SLA. Cloudavize commits to meeting whatever SLA you agree. An average describes past tickets; an SLA is a commitment. Ask which one you are getting and whether a missed target earns you a credit.

For security and compliance, ask for evidence over badges. A SOC 2 report, like the one Sagiss cites, is a document you can request under a nondisclosure agreement. If you handle patient records, card payments or defense contracts, ask who on their team has run a HIPAA, PCI DSS or CMMC assessment, and for a client reference in your industry.

On-site reach matters in a metro this spread out. Six of the eight list a Dallas street address, and Sagiss works from Las Colinas in Irving. Ask whether site visits are included or billed by the hour.

Questions for the first call:

  • Who answers a call at 8pm on a Saturday, and how quickly?
  • Which response and resolution times go into the contract, and what happens when you miss them?
  • Is pricing per user, per device or flat, and what triggers an increase?
  • How long is the term, and how much notice do I need to give to cancel?
  • Do your own employees do the work, or do you use subcontractors?
  • Can I speak with two Dallas clients of roughly my size?

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How much do managed IT services cost in Dallas?

The Dallas providers on this list describe pricing models more than price points. Ighty Support states a flat monthly rate with no contracts, Uprite locks pricing for 12 months, and ITECS sells packages on 1, 3 or 5-year terms. Ask each firm for a written quote per user or per device, what it excludes and what triggers an increase, then compare quotes for the same scope of work.

What does a managed IT provider actually do?

The firms here cover help desk support, network monitoring, cybersecurity, cloud, disaster recovery and compliance support. Some go further: Ighty Support also installs structured cabling and security systems, while Katalism Technology and IT GOAT offer a virtual chief information officer. Ask for a written list of what the monthly fee includes and what gets billed separately as a project.

How do I switch managed IT providers?

Read your current contract's notice period first. ITECS, for example, asks for 60 days' notice before renewal on its published packages. Then arrange the handover of admin passwords, domain and Microsoft 365 ownership, backup copies and network documentation before the end date. The incoming provider should run the transition plan with you, so ask for that plan in writing during the sales process.

Should I pick a local Dallas provider or a national one?

Local matters most when you need someone on site, for cabling, an office move or a server room. Most firms on this list give a Dallas area address. Katalism Technology serves clients nationwide from Dallas, and Uprite also covers Houston and San Antonio. If your staff are spread across Texas or the country, ask how on-site visits are handled outside Dallas.
