If you run a 20 to 300 person business in San Antonio, your managed information technology (IT) provider holds the keys to your email, your files and your security. This page compares eight firms that offer the best managed IT services in San Antonio for that size of company, using what each one states on its own site and what its Google profile shows.
Every firm here has a San Antonio office. Each sells ongoing managed services, the monthly arrangement where a managed service provider (MSP) runs your help desk, monitoring, backups and security for a recurring fee. The numbering is for navigation only. It is not a ranking, so read the entries against your own size, industry and compliance needs.
This page is not for enterprises shopping for a global outsourcer, or for anyone who only wants a technician to fix a broken laptop. Each entry gives the stated support hours, compliance work, contract terms and Google rating, then who the firm suits and what to ask.
How this list was built
We checked each provider against four criteria:
- Verified at the source. Every fact comes from the provider's own live website or its Google Business Profile. Where a fact card uses Clutch (hourly rates) or LinkedIn (team counts, founding years), it says so.
- Local presence. A headquarters (HQ) or office in the San Antonio area, or a stated San Antonio service area.
- A managed services offer. Ongoing monthly support and monitoring.
- A live, matching site. The website resolves and is clearly the same company as the Google listing.
Firms were left off if they only sell projects or break-fix repairs, if we could not tie them to a San Antonio location, or if their domain did not resolve to the business on the listing. A missing field means we did not find it on those sources; treat it as a question to ask. Google ratings and review counts were pulled on November 7, 2026, and the whole list was last reviewed that day.
Each entry opens with a fact card. Review summaries are our reading of each firm's most recent Google reviews (up to 40), pulled in November 2026. Pricing marked Clutch is the hourly band the firm reports on its Clutch profile, and team counts marked LinkedIn are people who list the firm as their employer there. Fields we could not confirm are left off the card.
Compare the top managed IT companies in San Antonio
Each row shows the firm's headquarters (HQ), nearest office or stated service area, its Google rating, its support coverage and one thing it is known for. Google ratings come from each firm's Google Maps listing in November 2026. Under Google, n/a means we found no rating we could match to the firm; under Support, it means we could not confirm its support hours.

What Google reviewers say: Quick responses and fixes get reviewers back to work. Our summary of the 40 most recent Google reviews, November 2026. The firm replied to 40 of them.

Neal Juern spent 14 years at a major Texas law firm, rising to IT Director, before he started 7tech in March 2012. In 2020 the firm became ThreatLocker's first Gold Partner in the world, according to its about page. The service list runs well past the help desk: compliance work for National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-171, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), plus penetration testing and a virtual chief security officer.
Day to day, 7tech states 24/7 support, a 20-minute average response time and flat-rate plans with no hidden fees. It says it protects more than 80 Texas organizations and over 3,000 users from offices in San Antonio and Austin, with nonprofits, manufacturers and construction firms named as its main markets.
Best fit: A nonprofit, manufacturer or construction company with 25 to 600 workstations that wants compliance work and daily support from the same team.
Think twice if: You run fewer than 25 workstations, since the firm states its range as 25 to 600.

What Google reviewers say: Prompt responses and troubleshooting get computer problems resolved quickly. Our summary of the 40 most recent Google reviews, November 2026. The firm replied to 39 of them.

Brandon Zumwalt has run SecureTech in San Antonio since 2002, from an office on W Loop 1604 N. Its 147 Google reviews are the largest count among the eight firms on this page, at a 5.0 average, which gives you the deepest pool of client comments to read before a first call.
The service menu covers managed IT, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, cloud, backup and disaster recovery, help desk, general consulting, and strategy work led by a virtual chief information officer (vCIO). SecureTech also sells CMMC compliance services and keeps a dedicated page for construction companies. Its Director of Client Services, Denton Massey, has more than 18 years of industry experience, so there is a named person to ask for when you call.
Best fit: A San Antonio business that wants a long-tenured local firm offering CMMC and planning work next to everyday help desk support.
Think twice if: After-hours coverage matters to you; ask what hours the help desk is staffed and what response time they will commit to in writing.

What Google reviewers say: Quick replies and timely help with requests and issues. Our summary of the 40 most recent Google reviews, November 2026. The firm replied to 40 of them.

Computer Solutions was founded in 1978 and is headquartered in San Antonio, so it has been in business for more than four decades. Its managed offer is split into five named lines: help desk, networking, security, collaboration, and data center and cloud. Around those sit cybersecurity risk assessments, incident response and technology procurement, which helps if you want the same firm to buy the hardware it will later support.
The homepage states 24/7 IT support and shows Cisco and Microsoft logos. The clearest signal of who they serve is the set of industry pages: banking and finance, education, healthcare and government. If you answer to auditors or regulators in one of those sectors, ask to see how they document the controls they run for clients like you.
Best fit: A bank, school, clinic or government office that wants a long-established provider with a page written for its sector and 24/7 support.
Think twice if: Your business falls outside banking, education, healthcare and government, the four sectors with dedicated pages; ask how many clients like you they support today.

What Google reviewers say: Quick responses and service help resolve reviewers' technical issues. Our summary of the 40 most recent Google reviews, November 2026. The firm replied to 34 of them.

Contract terms are the first thing to notice at Bridgehead IT: its locations page promises flexible agreements with no long-term contracts. If service slips, you should be able to walk away without waiting out a multi-year term, so ask what notice period the agreement does carry. The firm runs offices in San Antonio and Houston and says it serves Austin, Dallas, the rest of the U.S. and clients abroad. Ask which office would handle on-site visits for you.
Security is packaged under two names, Guardian and Watchtower, with Watchtower described as 24/7 frontline cyber defense. The site pitches regulated and complex industries, names healthcare directly, and lists cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) work next to managed IT. The San Antonio Express News named Bridgehead a Top Place to Work in 2022.
Best fit: A healthcare or other regulated business that wants around-the-clock threat detection and the freedom to leave without a long contract.
Think twice if: You need round-the-clock user support; the 24/7 claim on the site is attached to Watchtower cyber defense, so ask whether the help desk keeps the same hours.

What Google reviewers say: Timely support and quick fixes for computer and phone problems. Our summary of the 40 most recent Google reviews, November 2026. The firm did not reply to any of them.

IronEdge Group works from an office near San Antonio International Airport off Highway 281 and also supports Stone Oak, Alamo Heights, New Braunfels and Schertz. The firm says it was founded in Texas more than 20 years ago and grew through the acquisitions of Provelocity, LANstar and Lighthouse IT. Ask which office and which team would handle your account day to day.
Two delivery models are on offer: fully managed IT, or co-managed IT for businesses that keep an internal IT person and want backup behind them. The security bundle includes 24/7 monitoring, firewalls, endpoint protection and staff awareness training. IronEdge also gives compliance guidance for HIPAA, the Payment Card Industry (PCI) standard and CMMC, and handles voice and communication systems, useful if your phones are due for replacement too.
Best fit: A business in Stone Oak, Alamo Heights, New Braunfels or Schertz, or one with an in-house IT person who wants co-managed support.
Think twice if: You want a provider whose whole operation is local; IronEdge serves the Southwest and central U.S., and San Antonio is one of several locations.

What Google reviewers say: Timely help and quick fixes for computer problems. Our summary of the 40 most recent Google reviews, November 2026. The firm did not reply to any of them.

Mid-size companies with 50 to 500 employees are the stated target for Centre Technologies in San Antonio, where its Google listing places the office at 6243 I-10. Founded in 2006, the firm has offices across Texas and Oklahoma. It entered a strategic partnership with LightBay Capital and acquired Jackson Technical in Tulsa on October 22, 2026. Ask how that growth affects staffing at the San Antonio office.
The service list reaches further into business software than the others on this page: enterprise resource planning (ERP), AI-driven business applications and business intelligence sit beside managed IT, IT support, cloud, cybersecurity and consulting. The San Antonio page states 24x7 end-to-end management and IT support and names healthcare, financial and manufacturing clients as its focus.
Best fit: A healthcare, financial or manufacturing company of 50 to 500 people that wants IT support and business software work from one provider.
Think twice if: You have fewer than 50 employees, below the 50 to 500 range the San Antonio page states.

What Google reviewers say: Quick replies and troubleshooting help resolve urgent technical problems. Our summary of the 40 most recent Google reviews, November 2026. The firm replied to 28 of them.

A live person on the phone is the promise at TechSage Solutions: the homepage guarantees a live answer to support calls from 8:00 to 5:00, Monday through Friday. That is a commitment you can test with one phone call.
John Hill founded the firm with a focus on helping Department of Defense contractors in Texas meet CMMC requirements, and that focus runs through the rest of the offer: IT support, cybersecurity, cloud services, and compliance work covering CMMC and other standards. The team states more than 25 years of experience. If you supply a defense prime or bid on Department of Defense work, ask how many CMMC assessments their clients have been through and what evidence they help you prepare.
Best fit: A Texas defense contractor working toward CMMC that values a human answering the phone during the workday.
Think twice if: You need live phone support at night or on weekends; the stated guarantee covers 8:00 to 5:00 on weekdays, so ask how after-hours issues are handled.
8. SUURV Technologies
suurv.com- Google rating
- 5.0 (44 reviews)
- HQ
- San Antonio, TX
- Support
- 24/7 help desk and monitoring
What Google reviewers say: Quick responses and repairs get business systems working again. Our summary of the 40 most recent Google reviews, November 2026. The firm replied to 21 of them.

The number SUURV Technologies leads with is a 97% customer satisfaction (CSAT) score on help desk tickets, collected via SmileBack. Shane Morris founded the company to improve how IT services are delivered to small and medium businesses, and it runs from an office on Heritage Street in San Antonio.
The site states a 24/7 help desk and 24/7 monitoring, vCIO consulting, and a choice between flat-rate managed services and subscription models built around your needs. Named client sectors are healthcare, finance, engineering and startups. On speed, SUURV says it often responds within minutes. Ask to see how the satisfaction score trends month to month and how many tickets sit behind it, since a single headline figure tells you less than the pattern underneath.
Best fit: A small or midsize healthcare, finance or engineering firm, or a startup, that wants a 24/7 help desk and a published satisfaction score.
Think twice if: You need response times written into the contract; the site says it often responds within minutes, so ask what its service level agreement (SLA) actually commits to.
How to choose a managed IT provider in San Antonio
Match the firm to your size first. 7tech states a range of 25 to 600 workstations and Centre Technologies 50 to 500 employees. Near the edge of a range, ask how many current clients look like you.
Read what "24/7" covers. Six of the eight firms state round-the-clock coverage, but it means different things. 7tech, Computer Solutions, Centre Technologies and SUURV attach it to support or the help desk. Bridgehead IT attaches it to Watchtower cyber defense, and IronEdge Group to security monitoring. TechSage guarantees a live answer on weekdays from 8:00 to 5:00.
Get pricing in writing. 7tech and SUURV describe flat-rate plans. Whatever the model, ask for a per-user or per-device quote and a list of what sits outside it, such as onboarding, projects and after-hours work.
Ask about compliance by name. If you sell to the Department of Defense, 7tech, SecureTech, IronEdge Group and TechSage all list CMMC work. For HIPAA, 7tech and IronEdge Group name it directly, and Computer Solutions, Bridgehead IT, Centre Technologies and SUURV all name healthcare as a market.
Separate averages from commitments. 7tech states a 20-minute average response time, and SUURV says it often responds within minutes. An average is a track record. An SLA is a commitment. Ask for response and resolution targets by priority level and whether the agreement names a remedy when they are missed.
Know your exit before you sign. Bridgehead IT states it uses flexible agreements with no long-term contracts. With every other firm, ask the term length, the notice period, and how admin passwords and network documentation are handed over if you leave.
Google ratings across this list run from 4.8 to 5.0, so the star average will not separate them. Read the review count and recent reviews instead. On the first call, ask:
- Who answers when my staff call at 6 p.m. on a Friday?
- What are your written response and resolution times, by priority?
- What is included in the monthly fee, and what gets billed on top?
- How long is the contract, and what does leaving look like?
- Which compliance frameworks do your current clients actually report against?
